There are many ways to get involved with the Red Tab Foundation. Volunteers have donated their time and talents, in addition to raising funds. Some of the best fundraising ideas have come from supporters. Run for Red Tab is an example of an event started and led by employees. Other examples include a Valentine's Day themed bake sale and raffle; a collection taken up by Chicago coworkers for the privilege of wearing shorts on Fridays; and employees designating RTF as the beneficiary of a charitable donation for a corporate activity.

Employees at Levi's Plaza have banded together and formed a CIT for RTF. The main purpose of this group is to raise money and awareness for the Foundation and have fun with coworkers! To join the CIT, please contact T.J. Toce, RTF CIT chair. TToce@levi.com.

Red Tab CIT Launch a Huge Success
The launch of the new Red Tab CIT on February 11 was a huge success. The event consisted of a bake sale, coffee sale and raffle for three fabulous prizes.
Our goal of raising $500 was exceeded by a mile! The CIT collected a whopping $1262 for the baked goods and raffle alone, and an additional $133 for the coffee, for a grand total of $1395. This money goes directly to the Red Tab Foundation to help cover basic needs for current and retired LS&Co. employees.
The three raffle winners:
1st Grand Prize: $100 for dinner won by Yvonne Jenks
2nd Grand Prize: $100 for flowers won by Jean Stanley
3rd Prize: 2lb box of chocolates won by Shelley Morris
In addition, CIT members in Regional Sales Offices around the country participated by selling coffee beans with proceeds benefiting the RTF.
The CIT's mission statement:
"The Red Tab CIT will actively serve as a creative financial resource for the Red Tab Foundation, working to help meet the overall need for capital by driving fundraising activities throughout the year."
The CIT would like to say a huge "Thank You" to everyone who purchased our products and made the event such a wonderful start.
Future events will be announced later this spring.
The volunteers pictured above are LS&Co. retirees who helped us collate a mailing on a '60s-themed Community Day. They are part of a growing number of ambassadors who help Red Tab Foundation:
In addition to the group activities, RTF welcomes volunteers who may be able to help out on an individual basis. This could be something like filing or data entry or using a special skill to help with website updates, marketing, accounting, etc.
